An Extraordinary Young Alpinist

At just 13 years old, Tim Steinberger began his remarkable journey to the highest peaks of the Alps. Today, at 16 years old, he has already conquered more than half of the 82 four-thousanders.

This achievement is unprecedented in the history of alpinism. Tim is on track to become the youngest person ever to climb all 82 four-thousanders of the Alps - a record that underscores his extraordinary determination and alpine talent.

Diabetes & Mountaineering

As the first Type 1 diabetic aiming to climb all 82 four-thousanders of the Alps, Tobias shows that diabetes doesn't have to be an obstacle to extraordinary achievements.

The special challenges of mountaineering at high altitudes require precise diabetes management. Temperature, altitude and physical exertion significantly affect blood sugar levels.
